StudyMind is an educational tool that turns your study material into flashcards, quizzes, narrated videos, audio podcasts, interactive learning widgets, and summaries, with an AI chat assistant to help you study. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

Your account

You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity on your account. Registration may require administrator approval before it is enabled, and the first account created becomes the administrator. Keep your account information accurate.

Age

You should be at least 13 to use StudyMind, and if you are under 18 you should have permission from a parent, guardian, or teacher. The third-party AI providers that process your content set their own minimum-age rules.

Acceptable use

Use StudyMind for study and learning. Do not submit or generate content that is illegal, sexual content involving minors, hate speech, or harassment, and do not attempt to abuse the AI, escape the processing sandbox, drain credits through automated abuse, or disrupt the service.

Your content

You keep ownership of the material you paste or upload into your projects. You grant us permission to process it, including sending it to third-party AI providers, only to generate your study material, run the chat assistant, and operate the service. Submissions from moderated accounts are reviewed by an administrator before processing, and admins may reject them or remove content or accounts that break these terms.

Sharing

Your content is private unless you choose to share it. If you share a deck with another user or a teacher publishes it to a class library, the people you share with (or students who can see that library) can view and copy that content. You can also generate a public link, which lets anyone who has the URL view, study, and quiz the deck without an account until you revoke it. Only share what you intend to.

AI processing

To produce flashcards, quizzes, videos, podcasts, interactives, summaries, research, and chat replies, the content you submit is sent to third-party AI providers for processing (see the Privacy Policy for the list). This includes your spoken voice input when you use the voice tutor, which needs microphone access. Do not submit anything you are not comfortable sharing with third-party AI services, and do not submit highly sensitive information, including in what you say out loud.

AI-generated material

Everything the AI produces, including flashcards, quizzes, summaries, chat answers, and research, can be inaccurate or incomplete. Verify important facts before relying on them, especially for exams or anything that matters.

Credits

AI actions consume in-app virtual credits, which are granted on signup or by an administrator. Credits have no cash value and are not money. There is no real-money payment, purchase, billing, or refund of any kind.

Availability

StudyMind is an educational project provided "as is", without warranties. It may change, have downtime, or be discontinued.

Termination

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
